Blogger Guido Fawkes was left red faced this afternoon after inadvertently revealing the location of Mayor of London Boris Johnson?s family home.
A blogpost referenced mayoral candidate Ken Livingstone?s new website, which features a photo of a group of Labour activists outside a house in Islington ? but without anything to identify the occupant of the property. Seething with faux outrage, Guido accused Livingstone of ?poor taste? ?? while inadvertently revealing the location of the Mayor?s home to the world:
?There is taking the fight to your opponents and then there is a unnecessary poor taste by broadcasting where the Mayor, and his young family, sleep.?
Not content with mere bumbling incompetence, it has since been pointed out that Guido complaining about invasion of privacy is more than a little hypocritical. Take, for example this post by Guido news editor Harry Cole:
The Guido team have suggested that they??don?t?think an apology would be out of the question?.
Given the provenance of their Ken Livingstone attack material, Scrapbook is confident they know how to contact the Mayor?s office express their regret.
